Houston is a sprawling city (about 90 miles wide in all directions), so to reduce drive time, frustration in Houston’s infamous traffic, and environmental impact, we recommend that you stay in the Museum District or Montrose area. Besides the usual chains, there are several places to stay here that are close to the wedding venue:
Hotel Zaza: Walking distance to wedding and reception. At our request the hotel has set aside a block of 10 rooms at a special rate for our wedding. In order to take advantage of this, mention the Varghese/Sherwood Wedding Block 2010 when you call to reserve your room. Reservations must be made by 29 June 2010 for this rate to apply, after which reservations will be taken on a space and group rate availability basis.
